Bounty were consulted at the beginning of the design to work with the 24-apartment block developer. With high expectations of CO2 reductions and asthestic restrictions, careful consideration was required when selecting both renewable solution and manufacturer.

As mains gas was not available at site; the only heating option was going to be electrical.
ASHP’s were chosen as a modern alternative, offering an impressive 22,632 kg of annual CO2 savings and huge 60% reduction in running cost.
Keen to ensure there was no visual impact or background noise Vaillant were the obvious choice. By selecting the areoTHERM split meant it was possible to place the indoor and outdoor components up to 25m from each other. This allowed for flexibility in their external placement.
By installing and connecting individual units each apartment has total control of their heating and hot water.
